Bought this for my wife's b'day for e-mail & internet. Works great. Have had it 2 wks. Battery lasts a long time. Easily configured our main pc's dvd drive for network access to install other software. Had to change the super hyper speed to max otherwise internet access was too slow. Would like to get add'l RAM but can't figure out what RAM is in the unit. My son is now going to buy 1 to replace his Dell laptop w/ a dead battery -- Love the Eee

So before I bought this netbook, I looked @ all the reviews and they were positive. I had just returned my macbook pro to my school because I couldn't keep it any longer. I wanted to buy a laptop for a good price with hopes that it would be just as good as the macbook. well, i came across the asus eee pc and once i recieved it, the screen was bigger than i thought! and the keyboard is amazing! You can take pics, record, make movies just as good as imovie with windows updated movie maker, i could record songs once i downloaded audacity and i have itunes.

this laptop is for college so it's not heavy, completely portable, and kinda cute! The only problem I had is that 2 days after I received it, it started making this disgusting staticy noise! It was embarrassing, so I called the Asus company and now i'm waiting for them to stop the noise, other than that this netbook is pretty darn good -- It's pretty darn good!
