The extended capacity is true. Unfortunately, the size of the needed larger capacity almost outweighs the netbook itself. Maybe a year or 2 from now, the industry will be able to give us smaller more efficient batteries for these terrific small and efficient netbooks from Acer. Until that time, we'll be wielding oversized and overweight batteries that are needed to keep the netbooks running for a few hours extra. Battery engineering needs to keep up with the other sectors of technology. -- Acer Battery is al it says it is....

The battery was purchased as a backup. Now I leave it on the computer all the time. You get more reserve power and the battery tilts the laptop up to make it easier to type on. -- Acer Battery

I really like my Acer One Netbook but the standard 3 cell battery means you are constantly hunting for a plug. I was barely getting 1 hour before having to charge. With this battery I get 8 to 9 hours. If you use your netbook much this is a necessity. -- Fixes a major flaw

I recently order this laptop battery and had a few questions from the seller. I contacted them by e-mail and they were extremely responsive and helpful. I thought the battery was good for 9 hours. The acer A0A-150 only gives a 6.8 hour life, but this is better that the 45 minute life for the 3 cell version that came with the machine. I do not need to work near a power socket anymore. They are usually filled with someone else's power cord.

I only recharge every 3 days or so.
