An external CD drive is a rather dull, utilitarian item in today's world of 'fancy Dan' tech gizmos. As one would expect, this is just a little work horse that is simple and does its job. Just plug it into the netbook and 'voila', you now have a disc drive. The order was shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition. I would recommend to anyone who finds themselves in need of an external CD drive. -- Works as advertised

Got this item a month ago and it has been working perfectly for me and my room mate. I use it on my emachine netbook frequently and haven't had one complaint so far. I recommend this product to anyone who wants to save money without going cheap on the item. All others were far more expensive then this at the time of purchase and this works just as well as those others. Only thing is I don't think it burns cds. Not a 100% sure.. But I have never needed that feature so paying less for an external drive without the extras suits me rather well. -- A great bang for your buck

inexpensive and worked perfectly with my Acer.. it does not burn but i purchased it to install softwear. my little acer worked perfectly with it and instantly recognized it.. thin, small, light and slips into any small storage space in your laptop carry bag.. -- value
