User Reviews about Targus Sport Clamshell Case Designed for 10.2 Inch Netbooks TNC101US (Black)
This review is for the "Targus Sport Clamshell Case Designed for 10.2 Inch Netbooks TNC101US (Black)" not the roller bag that seems to share reviews with it.
This is THE BAG for netbook computers. I bought one for my Asus EeeeeeePc and it is wonderful. I later bought an Eeepc for my wife and Immediately bought another Targus Clamshell for her too. Everything fits: Computer, mouse, power brick & Cord and room for flash drives, a usb hub, and probably a slim external cd-rom drive.
If you have a netbook, get this bag.

Had to order the case off Amazon.com as Amazon.ca did not have this exact model I was looking for. Luckily I had somebody that was going down to the United States to bring it back for me so I saved the extra shipping costs. Love the case. Its padded in all the right places and my Asus netbook fits perfectly. Has the convenient handle on top as well the long carrying strap. -- Targus netbook case review
I switched from a wheeled breif case to this. I use it everyday to and from work as a wheeled case. It doesn't look as need as a breif case, but today noone cares. The big advantage is when traveling I can switch it to backpack and have my hands free. It als rolls down the isle of an airplane without hitting the seats.
Ofter a month including two business trips is shows no wear. Mine is all black with black and gray strings tied on the zippers. I removed about half of the zipper ties since they aren't need. -- Practical as a business case
This ia good bag and it holds my netbook, Ipad, cooling pad and the chargers while retaining its shape and still remains lightweight
However, it would have been great if targus had put in a pair of zippers for each compartment instead of a single one so it becomes easy to close the sections instead of hunting for the zipper.
Targus also boasts a feature in this bag that in my opinion is useless and sometimes gets in the way. This is the ability to leave the netbook in the bag and work from within the bag. Given the heat the netbooks typically puts out, this is bad for 1) the bag 2) the netbook battery and 3) anything else you keep in the bag. However, one of the belt extensions that lets you keep the compartment open should you choose to work with a netbook in the bag as Targus wants you to often sticks out and gets caught in the zipper
I am taking away a star for the above two reasons but all in all still one of the better bags out there given that I tried two other bags before settling on this targus model -- Good compact bag but would have liked a bit more attention to ease of use
I bought this rolling backpack for those times when my shoulders just can't take the load anymore. It works well as a rolling bag, but is a heavy bag, even before computers and books go in. The transition from shoulder to roller is a little awkward, as you have to take it off, stop, bend over and make sure both shoulder straps are well tucked in and out of the way; then proceed. The roller does work well, no tilting or tipping over, and it has been a durable bag. Just wish they could find a way to lighten it (or maybe the book!? Kindle?) up a bit. -- Heavy even without books
