User Reviews about Toshiba Mini 300 Series NB305-N310 10.1-Inch Netbook - Black Onyx

This is a nice netbook for the casual to advanced user. Mine came with XP Home, but some are shipping with Win 7 Starter. The OS is quick and stable, given 1Gb RAM and the dual-core Atom processor. Battery life is around 10 hours with ordinary use. The wireless NIC is stable and connects quickly to wireless networks. The video display is fantastic - bright, crisp, and with the 'pinch & zoom' feature viewing web pages is super easy.

A very nice netbook for about $310 as of June 2010. -- Great Netbook for the casual user
This is my first netbook. I wanted something that looked good, had basic functionality, and easy to use. (I really wanted an ipad). Price and functionality comparisons compelled me to choose a netbook. This one met all my requirements. Set up was extremely quick and simple. I carried it on vacation. I didn't bother to buy a case so I just slipped it into my handbag. It was a breeze at the airport and kept me entertained during an unfortunalely long delay. I was able to keep in touch with civilzation and browse the net. I even did a tiny bit of work. Upload/download and some pages load slower than I expected but it's not horrible. I'm very happy with my purchase. -- Just what I expected
This netbook has been a great. I thought I would need time adjusting to a small keyboard, but the Toshiba is very ergonomic and adjusting has been easy. Very good and fast for basic software like Email, Internet, picture sharing, and basic productivity. For a lightweight, mobile supplement to a desktop or primary laptop it hits the mark. Best of all, the battery life lets you charge up at night, and it will get you through the next day without a problem. -- Great Netbook
I love the portability of the Toshiba Mini, but the keyboard often requires hitting a letter several times to get it to appear. I can not tell you how frustrating it is to have to continually go back to retype something often having to hit the key pretty hard. This review should have only taken me 2 minutes to type but actually took me 4 because I have to keep going back. -- Keyboard Challenges
It seems very nice, has bigger keyboard providing better typing compared to other netbooks. But windows 7 lowers the running performance of the netbook, add 1gb ram and close off all visiul effects, i will be better.

there is a camera display problem while connecting the internet, actually its a netbook (for surfing internet and video chatting), have to have better connection. -- seems good, slow due to windows 7
